FILMS

Habitable
“Habitable” is a feature film that takes place in 2040. When a shocking medical crisis destroys her future, a woman dedicated to serving her controlling government must stop a human catastrophe that will affect millions of climate migrants.
“HABITABLE is simultaneously terrifying and gut-wrenchingly familiar, but the writer weaves a delicate thread of hope within the catastrophic story. Each scene carefully boosts tension, with clear high stakes even as those stakes shift with each new element…the writer deftly reveals how human behavior adapts under the weight of these new circumstances and that is where the greatest terror lies.” — The Black List
The smart sci-fi film has a strong female lead arc within a motherhood story. The climate emergency is front and center. Themes include reconciliation and forgiveness, and the healing power of connection and truth. AR tech is also explored.
