Terra’s actor talents have been cultivated through extensive performing and training in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Growing up in a Chicago suburb, she presented works in highly competitive state-wide speech, music, and drama events. Later, she performed at Second City-Los Angeles, presented on live television in New York, and studied acting with acclaimed teachers in Los Angeles. These teachers include Meisner Teacher Wayne Dvorak, long-form improv with Merilyn Carney, comedy with Annie Grindlay, classical acting with Yale Drama Instructor Gregory Berger-Sobeck, and scene study with Craig Wallace.

Additionally, she has worked on stage material from the greats, including Lanford Wilson, Gina Gionfriddo, Lynn Nottage, Joanna Murray-Smith, Tennessee Williams, William Mastrosimone, Maxim Gorky, John Patrick Shanley, and Anton Chekhov.
