Long-time supporter of homeopathy, Terra Wellington outlines
goals of drive to expand exposure, extend education

Wellness Lifestyle Expert Terra Wellington announces her “Homeopathy for Health” campaign and its goal to encourage the general public and health practitioners to learn more about Homeopathy, a form of alternative medicine, to improve their health and patient care. 

“To start with, I am going to get the word out on my website and with the articles that I write for national magazines, such as Fit Body,” says Wellington.  “Later, I see the campaign developing into a partnership with the National Center for Homeopathy to promote preventative children’s healthcare or combat chronic illnesses with integrative care.  I’m interested in doing whatever I can do to bring exposure to the quality practice of homeopathy.”

Some of Wellington’s objectives are to promote the raising of standards and setting of uniform credentials for alternative and integrative healthcare professionals to protect consumers and to increase the quality of complementary care.  And, she would like to see consumers become better educated about these standards and credentials, as well as what they should expect with alternative and integrative standards of care and treatments. 

“Currently, alternative medicine and integrative healthcare looks interesting and gives us many positive results, but we need to raise the bar so that consumers know when to go to which practitioner for what condition.  It would be great if the average American knew what homeopathy actual was and how to use it effectively to improve health and save money,” says Wellington.
