Products That Enrich Your Life
——————————————————————
|
When I
think of products that have enriched my life, there are few.
In my
experience, the majority of products have served either a ho-hum
practical purpose, ended up an under-used novelty, or now live deep
in my garage, closet, or local landfill. |
But every
once and a while, there’s something that you plunk down your hard-earned
money for and end up with a return that goes beyond the product itself –
even if the original intent was to serve a sensible need.
When this
happens, it usually means the benefits have enriched your life in some way
– educated you, inspired you, or increased your well-being.
Or, perhaps
there’s something unique or outstanding about the product – the “wow!”
factor – possibly making your life more simple or easy.
Here’s a few
products that might be worth your further consideration.
Yoga on DVD:
Top on my list are the DVD “Yoga For Inflexible People” ($19.95) and the
CD-ROM “15 Minute Office Yoga” ($16.95), both by Bodywisdom Media (www.bodywisdommedia.com).
These media
have replaced all the yoga video tapes I used to own — a chance to
downsize!
What is
truly beneficial about these high-quality, reasonably priced products is
that they fully exploit the DVD and CD-ROM technologies.
And, they
allow me to have an easy, complete yoga experience anywhere, without
wading through a long, non-comprehensive video to find what I want.

Yoga, skin care, and
family communication
products offer ways to enrich our lives. |
|
Says Bodywisdom Media President Mike Wohl about exercise
videos “Shouldn’t you be able to tell your video what your
needs are and not the other way around?”
You choose what you want from the multitude of on-screen DVD
options without wasting any time. For example, if I only have
20 minutes, I pick a 20-minute workout from the screen.
If I’m at the computer, I pick a quick, discrete “Energy
Boost” workout on the CD-ROM to do while sitting at my desk,
one of 15 different routines available on screen. |

Table Talk:
Another banner product called Family Table Time ($59.95) by Family
Communications Institute, Inc. (
www.family tabletime.com)
is made to improve family communication and togetherness.
If you’re
willing to commit to this program, it should give your family lasting,
positive results. The kit comes with a specially printed, vinyl
tablecloth; an easy-to-read guidebook; and additional communication
tools.
Through
Table Time, expect to see your family more often, learn at-home
communication skills, and plan wholesome family activities.
Teenagers
might not immediately go along with Table Time’s structure, but I’m
willing to bet that loving, dedicated parents can use this program to
bring a family closer together and foster improved self-esteem over time.
Skin Care At
Its Finest:
Rated “Best of New York” by Vogue magazine, Susan Ciminelli’s
products are top of the line in holistic skin care and used by a long list
of celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Naomi Campbell, and Cindy
Crawford.
In my mind,
what makes her skin products unique is the combination of essential oils
and organic ingredients. And there’s got to be something magical in her
Serenité Candle because it immediately woke up my senses and made me
smile.
Because I
know a little about alternative health approaches, I understand Susan’s
natural healing method: internally bringing balance to the skin.
If you’re
not near her New York City day spa located at Bergdorf Goodman, check out
her offerings ($35.00-$200.00) online at
www.susanciminelli.com.
